The DeviceNet to Serial Interface is the backbone that our DeviceNet to SICK and DeviceNet to Serial DA modules were built on. In addition to these modules the DeviceNet to Serial Interface has been developed to communicate with well over 100 serial devices from companies such as Imaje, Toledo, Avery Denison, Ishida, Marsh Encore, iDTRONIC, Linx, and many others.

If your device has an unnecessarily complicated serial communications protocol we could develop a customized DeviceNet interface for you.

Customizing DeviceNet to Serial Interface can simplify PLC integration by eliminating burdensome serial communications routines in your PLC program. It will also enable you to have multiple serial devices on a common DeviceNet bus instead of on a single point-to-point serial link.

Customized parameters can be added to the module so that you can configure and monitor your device using DeviceNet management tools.
