EtherNet/IP to Serial DA
TCS have added the EtherNet/IP to Serial DA Interface to our growing range of Industrial EtherNet/IP Interfaces. This product complements our hugely successful DeviceNet to Serial DA Interface.
Communications with all types of plant floor equipment is now a standard requirement. One of the major hurdles when connecting multiple devices back to a common processor is the number of communication ports that is required and the complexity of writing the protocol driver.
This product will enable you to quickly and easily integrate any serial device into your EtherNet/IP installation. Data to be transmitted is received from the PLC over EtherNet/IP, and transmitted over the serial link. Data received on the serial link is transmitted to the PLC over EtherNet/IP. The simplicity of the mapping of data directly into the PLC data table makes connection to serial devices, so much easier and faster.
An extensive range of parameters allows you to configure the module to suit your exact barcode tracking requirements.
